Real Life, Real Struggles: How I Reset My Health and Help Others Thrive

I haven’t shared much about this before because I’ve been focused on my own healing journey.

But after reversing my Hashimoto’s symptoms and finally feeling like I was back on track, life threw me into a particularly challenging season. The chronic stress I experienced during that time took a toll on my body, reminding me just how deeply stress impacts our health.

It was a time in my life when many things seemed to spiral out of control. I stopped prioritizing my health, ignored what I knew about wellness, and, as a result, faced a cascade of uncomfortable symptoms. I gained weight, felt exhausted, and battled bloating and other gut issues. My thyroid went haywire, and my energy levels plummeted. To top it all off, I was under an overwhelming amount of stress, which only compounded the problem.

Looking back, I know exactly why all of this was happening:

  • My body was overloaded with toxins, and I wasn’t supporting proper detoxification.

  • Chronic inflammation was wreaking havoc on my system.

  • Overgrowths like parasites, yeast, and bacteria were likely taking hold.

  • I was dehydrated and not drinking nearly enough water.

  • I wasn’t moving my body, which only added to the stagnation.

  • Stress was shutting me down on every level.
